A child’s mind is God’s most astonishing creation. It is our moral duty to nurture it in the precise way to create the responsible citizens for tomorrow. We at Cambridge Gurukul strongly support and promote physical and emotional intelligence which are the most essential, challenging & gratifying task one can take on. The new education policy focuses on implementing bagless days and vocational training. Bagless School aims to provide the experiences for physical, intellectual, artistic, emotional, divine and social development of the child through creative and modern education in an attractive and caring environment. Our aim is to generate interest among the students in their Curricular and extracurricular activities through the fun based practical learning where a child is free to experience new techniques through critical thinking.  As per the new policy, specific days will be allotted as bagless days, and will be encouraged throughout the year for various types of enrichment activities like involvement of art integrated projects, quizzes, and vocational crafts. During these days school can arrange a spectrum of eye-popping activities as per the different age criteria like shape hunt, maths puzzle sorting, world wall, dance, handwriting, abacus/Vedic maths, Drama/Public speaking, Pottery making, handcrafting, STEAM,  Sketch making and numerous other activities, can be taught.  It will provide a psychological satisfaction to the child that they don’t have to carry school bags and will get to learn something new in a fun way.

This is an extra ordinary initiative to lessen the burden of school bags, but it is our duty to be followed properly. While following the bagless concept we should also make sure the Tiffin bags also to go to lesser weight.

Bagless days will be a new platform to experience things in a classroom for the students. This innovative and thoughtful initiative will give an appraisal and hands-on familiarity of a sampling of important vocational crafts.During this period, the students will become skilled at with local vocational experts such as carpenters, gardeners, potters, artists, painters, storytellers, chefs, choreographers, animators etc.  We will be stepping up our support for BAGLESS DAYS in school for results-based vocational education to enable our students to deliver the strongest possible vocational/Extra Curricular activities during the BAGLESS DAYS initiative.  Every child has the right to a quality education at Cambridge we owe that to the children of today and tomorrow.
